I've been thinking about a trip to the Baltic Republics sometime, but it looks like I won't manage to fit it in this year. While I was poking around on Wikipedia, though, I found a link to Talinn Summer School at Talinn University, which has a three-week Estonian course with cultural events and excursions in July. I've been thinking that it might be interesting to learn a bit of Finnish or Estonian to get an idea of how much they resemble Hungarian, and this could be a very fun way to get to know a new country. It's too late to go this year, and I have a family vacation which conflicts with it anyway, but I might be able to manage it next year.

Of course, the answer to the inevitable "Why are you studying Estonian?" questions will be even less plausible than my answer for Hungarian. Oh well, I don't mind if people think I'm weird.

Estonia sounds like fun.

Thank you again for the book, by the way.
