A seven-volume dictionary, A Magyar Nyelv Értelmező Szótára, just arrived from Hungary. 23 pounds, 1.4 ounces, 7362 pages. Not the easiest beast to consult, but oh my is it complete. I should have bought this years ago; I've already looked up one word whose meaning I only knew from an 1897 dictionary on Google Books, and found out it means the opposite of what I thought. (I'm confident that the newer dictionary is correct, because the sentence they use as an example is the one I got the word from.)

Yum yum yum yum yum. I should have bought this years ago.

I couldn't remember if you read The Post or not, so I saved this clip on taking care of old books for you. It sounds like something you'd like to do, although not as exciting as Hungary!
